ABOUT US
Who is behind Making Art Happen?
Making Art Happen's team -MAH- is large and multidisciplinar (cultural mediators, artists, researches, designers and entrepreneurs). Here we introduce the permanent core of cultural mediators who run the pedagogical experiences of MAH's project in Spain and London.
If you are a teacher or a contemporary visual artist who would like to know more about this innovative learning through art project and potentially collaborate, contact us.
Our philosophy is to integrate new teaching methodologies to respond to the XXI century challenges and demands of the Generation Z students, who are highly visual and interactive.
These students' are requesting inter-relational learning methods, co-creation and knowledge and technique crossovers, using images and audivisuals as a source of information and communication.

CULTURAL MEDIATORS
VANESA CEJUDO MEJIAS

Art and History doctorate and Sociologist. Co-funder of Pensart.org and ExprimentoLimon.org.
Moved by the philosophy to integrate contemporary visual art in our everyday life as part of the thinking, enjoinment and development processes, I run projects like Making Art Happen that encourages to actively think any kind of subject through art.
CRISTINA CALVO HERRERO
Project coordinator in the Basque Country, Spain.
As an artist teacher I believe that creativity, critical thinking and collaborative actions nurture the essential values for education. Making Art Happen's philosophy, in harmony with my philosophy as teacher and artist, protect those values; it offers the space to reflect on the impact of the visual world, it makes connections between the contemporary art instigators and educational institutions and explores innovative pedagogical methods to meet the demands of students of the new century.
