-To contrast information using informal sources about the reality of social deviation.
SUMMARY
M. D. Villegas case, called Arropiero, who performed more than 40 assassinations, it's a landmark in the history of Spanish criminology.
There are documentaries, TV programs, interviews and studies about him. However, the artist Paula Rubio Infante has pointed at his sketchbook and the sculpture he produced during his time in prison, in Carabanchel. Paula has worked with his drawings in order to get closer to the art brut, marginalised art or psychotic art.
These artistic practices possess a huge emotional charge, due to the metal illness of the creator, and the results are unaware of the order and precepts of integrated art.
Paula's main creative activity goal is to try and expand the two-dimensional images produced by Arropiero to a three-dimensional approach, in order to reflect on contrast between what "the reality of normality" and the personal and subjective understanding that Arropiero had of his psychology and surroundings captured in his drawings.
