Field of Knowledge

An Otherkin is the subculture who identifies, socially and spiritually, as a non-completely-human.
Some of them state that their identity is genetic, others say that their identity comes from the reincarnation. There are theories that look at this from a psychological view point, the dysphoria of the trans-species soul.
In addition to these theories, there are other that consider the Otherkin a religious believe.
Raisa Maudit, whose art practice is closely linked to the Otherkin, the group embody and recreate a fiction around the process of socialisation of an otherkin, based on 4 socialisation agents: the family, the group of otherkins, the school and the media. See agents here https://ericotherkin.tumblr.com/
Each group will work on one agent together. After analysing each agent, they will stage the final reconstruction in order to reflect on the topic.
